British-Nigerian actor Sam Oladeinde is currently starring as Aaron Burr in the Original UK & Ireland Tour of smash hit musical Hamilton. He previously guest starred in the BBC’s award-winning medical dramas Casualty and Doctors and appeared in the Amy Winehouse biopic Back to Black. Sam also recently starred as Bob in the Olivier Award winning Come From Away in the West End (Phoenix Theatre). He started his career in the original West End cast of Hamilton (Victoria Palace). Other credits include: Young Scrooge & Fred Anderson in the West End production of A Christmas Carol (Dominion Theatre); Understudy Ramses in the original West End cast of The Prince of Egypt (Dominion Theatre); originating the role of Lord Pinkleton in the UK concert premiere of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella (Cadogan Hall); and Motumbo in London’s West End production of The Book of Mormon (Prince of Wales).
As a vocalist, Sam can be heard in several blockbuster films. He was a solo vocalist in the acclaimed Bernstein biopic Maestro, with which Sam made his Lincoln Center debut with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra, and on both Netflix Rebel Moon feature films. He also sung backing vocals for Barbie, The Little Mermaid and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, to name a few.
Sam completed a Masters (with distinction) at the Royal Academy of Music in 2018, fully-funded by an inaugural scholarship from Disney Theatrical Productions. He previously read Law at the University of Cambridge, and qualified as a solicitor in a premier international law firm.
